About Jayce

Jayce Hanson grew up on a small farm in Minnesota. This upbringing proved to be a perfect training ground for the qualities of a future voice actor: a strong, independent work ethic; and an endless amount of practice talking to himself due to the isolation. From a young age, Jayce was fascinated with cartoons and, more so, the talent behind the characters. After college, Jayce landed a job in Audio Description, and their love of voiceover quickly blossomed.

Jayce’s “farm to vocal booth” voice acting style is rooted in authenticity and a sense of humor. Their voice is youthful and distinct: think of an upbeat camp counselor with a modern rasp, and a touch of wryness for good measure. They pride themselves on embracing their own quirkiness rather than sounding like the hundreds of commercials from yesteryear; never taking the read too seriously and maintaining a sense of play. Their strong background in theater and improv allows them to adapt quickly to client needs and find unique spins with scripts of any genre.

In his free time, Jayce enjoys volleyball, writing, line dancing, and aerial arts! (Will also accept payment in artisanal coffee beans.)

Currently represented by J Pervis Talent Agency in Atlanta, Georgia, and Wehmann Voice in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
